Signing Ceremoy of MoU Between Karachi Stock Exchange and ISMAR.

The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) and the Institute of Securities Management and Research (ISMAR) on Thursday April 8th, 2010 signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for holding investment road shows in the different cities of the country. The Managing Director of KSE, Adnan Afridi, and the CEO of the Ismar, Nazish Lutfi, signed the agreement.

Speaking on the occasion, Nazish Lutfi said that around 12 to 18 investment road shows would be organised in the different cities of the country. The first road show would be held in Multan on May 15, 2010 while other road shows would be held at Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Gujranwala and other cities.

He said that the basic aim for holding these road shows is to educate the people about the capital market. The MD, KSE, Adnan Afridi said road shows, seminars and conferences are necessary to educate people.
