The Karachi Stock Exchange Press Release

(Karachi, April 16, 2010): Karachi Stock Exchange (Guarantee) Limited and Institute of Securities, Management & Research (ISMAR) signed an MoU to conduct training and Road Shows throughout Pakistan to promote Capital Markets and financial literacy, on April 8, 2010.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Adnan Afridi, MD KSE said, “It has been our endeavor to increase the investor base and knowledge of capital markets to general public. Capital markets are an effective platform to raise inexpensive funds but unfortunately in Pakistan our markets are not capitalized upon. Im happy to join hands with ISMAR to promote our cause.”


Mr. Nazish Lutfi CEO ISMAR explained the concept of Road Shows he said, “We plan to take the investor education to big and small towns of Pakistan and introduce concept of financial supermarket for promotion of different investment options.”
